A lifelong Washingtonian, AnnMarie Cooper has worked in ceramics for nearly 20 years as both gallerist and artist of Good Earth Pottery and Starflower Studios. She teaches classes locally and internationally, and also manages an online artist mentorship program called Cohorts.Art. The ceramics-appreciating community plays a warm and pivotal role in her life, although the pottery making is her favorite part. AnnMarie's work spans the realms of functional and sculptural, heavily influenced by the landscapes, flora, and fauna of the PNW. Hand-carved porcelain is her current passion in the studio. The bright white clay showcases her vibrant colored glazes or when left unglazed, offers a cozy, satiny finish begging to be held.
