I am a potter and woodworker, working out of Starflower Studios. I make functional ceramics with softly geological surfaces using stained porcelains and a variety of subtractive carving techniques including kurinuki, chattering, faceting, whittling, and turning. My pots combine the colors and textures of the coastal Pacific Northwest with the abstracted structural elements of Brutalism.
