Meet us for a casual walkabout of downtown Bellingham featuring stops at local gallery openings. Consider this a low stakes opportunity to mingle with fellow WACK members, explore downtown, admire artwork, and stretch your legs in the damp, grim darkness of Autumn!
Plan to meet outside Allied Arts at 6pm, migrating to the next stop by 6:20pm or so. Look for Mason appearing either shivering in shorts or all bundled up. This month’s gallery highlights include the annual 6×6 Community Art Show at Dakota Gallery, a group show at Allied Arts, and wooded landscapes at The Lightcatcher.
Now that Summer is over the First Friday Walkabout will be more sporadic. Mason will keep an eye on gallery event calendars and schedule gatherings accordingly. Members, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you spot a show we should be aware of. Cheers, and see y’all soon!
